The SBSL has a well defined HR policy for the development of the Human resources.
At present the SBSL has got work force of Ministerial and Technical level. We provide on- the job training to those who have passed out from the technical institutes and also to those who are otherwise qualified and desirous of obtaining practical training in the relevant areas.
The SBSL is perhaps the only private shipyard in the region capable of providing an organized training to the marine technicians.
